* Protect your watch from blows, magnetic fields, intense heat, water and chemicals as well as from mechanical abrasion. Watches should always be removed when you go to sleep.
* Waterproofness according to DIN is a constructional feature that may be jeopardized through impact and temperature fluctuations as well as through the influence of greases and acids. A watch that is used for swimming and diving should be handled and stored particularly carefully the rest of the time and inspected annually by the specialist shop for waterproofness.
* The durability of the battery depends on factors such as the construction of the mechanism. If a battery-driven watch stops or if it is indicated that the battery voltage is waning, it should be brought to the specialist shop immediately, so that the empty battery cannot cause any damage either to the watch or the environment.
* The battery should be changed regularly at 1 - 1 1/2 year intervals in the specialist shop, which also inspects the current consumption and the condition of the seals where necessary and replaces them if required.
* If condensed water forms (fog under the glass), the watch must be brought to the specialist shop immediately, so that the moisture does not cause any damage.
* The winder should always be pressed in or screwed tight when worn.
* The leather strap of your watch is a part subject to wear and as a natural product it is particularly put at risk above all by moisture, sweat, chemicals and abrasion, it only has a limited life span and should be replaced every 6 - 12 months (also for hygiene reasons) depending on how often it is worn. If it is changed, the locating pins (spring pins) should also be inspected and replaced if necessary.
* The manufacturer's individual instructions for use must also be heeded.
